What We Do:

Because we are passionate about the work we do, we believe that having accurate information and “Just the Right Motivation” are all it takes for an individual to be successful! So, we serve as advocates to meet the needs of the community members with partners such as: individuals; foundations; schools, colleges, and universities; community and faith-based organizations; and local, state, and federal agencies. These efforts include the following:

The coordination of grant activities; educational workshops; workshop/training development; grant writing assistance; and the development of in-service training, staff developments, and staff retreats based on the needs of the customers to help them achieve their objectives and goals.

The coordination of health fairs and Medicare benefits education and outreach for foundations and state agencies respectively, to help them achieve their goals and objectives which are delivered to their clients in person or online via webinars.

Work that Just the Right Motivation Consulting, LLC Is Currently Performing Throughout and Outside of the State of Mississippi:

Promote face-to-face and virtual health events on COVID-19, HIV, and other health concerns to recruit participants by sending out emails to over 450 network members, asking them to share it with their network and communities, February 2021 to Present

Make presentations on HIV prevention, HIV Stigma, and COVID-19 on zoom, radio stations, Facebook Live via radio stations, and other media, February 2021 to Present

Recruit and partner with individuals and community and faith-based organizations to host COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing events and Health and Wellness Fairs (to include HIV testing and other health screenings) in the Mississippi Delta, July 2021 to Present

Co-coordinate the Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk for the Greater New Kingdom Missionary Baptist Church of Cleveland, October 2021 to Present

Provided in-service training for the Alabama State University TRIO Program in Montgomery, AL on August 12, 2022, on the following three workshop topics: 1) How to Better Prepare Your Students to Win Scholarships; 2) Enhancing Recruitment and Student Engagement Efforts One Strategy at a Time; and 3) Brainstorming Strategies to Better Prepare Your Students for GRE Success!

In 2017, I re-joined the Mississippi HIV Planning Council (MHPC) as a volunteer member to collaborate with other community leaders and the Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) to help end the HIV epidemic in Mississippi. From April 2019 to December 2021, as the chair of the MHPC Membership Committee, I enjoyed working with the committee members to inform community members across the state about HIV prevention and the MHPC regularly to recruit MHPC members and observers.
